Hotel Blue

The oceanfront room we had was great. The view is fantastic. Kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator and sink. We were not bothered during our stay which I prefer. If you want or need anything you let the desk know. Parking garage was simple. Plenty of elevators. The pool and hot tub were nice with easy access to and from the beach. There is also a bar where you can sit in the pool and order from. It did storm alot during our stay so more time spent in and around hotel than normal.

We stayed on the 15th floor We enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were very nice and super clean, and the hotel itself was well-kept. Elevators worked fine, and when the parking lot was full, they were quick to accommodate us, which we appreciated. There’s no daily housekeeping, but everything felt comfortable and tidy throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the bar in the pool — it had a really nice vibe and great drinks! The only downside was the service at the front desk — the receptionist wasn’t very welcoming, and the lady handing out pool passes ignored me while on the phone, which was frustrating. Close to a lot of restaurants and family kingdom. Overall though, it was a good experience, and we’d come back for the clean rooms and fun pool area!

We stay here every year and absolutely LOVE it. We can always guarantee a clean, relaxing environment! The pool is wonderful and the swim up bar is a must! Our bartender is Jennifer Stokes was top notch! Literally one of my all time bartenders ever!

My third time coming here, twice for my daughter's birthday. She Loves it. I Love the ocean view rooms. She Loves the pool and hot tub. You also have access to the pools and hot tubs indoor and outdoor at captains quarters.

Hotel Blue was great for us. Our room was updated snd looked very nice. The balcony could use a touch up. As well as the pool area like paint wise. Overall our 2night stay was good. We did not have any complaints other than the wifi doesn't support gaming consoles.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Nice patio to sit outside. Staff was polite and helpful. Can literally leave the pool and your on the beach. Price is affordable also. Recommend

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. The room we stayed in was nice and clean. Gotta really good rate on our 2 room suite. Nice view from the balcony. Overall we a very well pleased and if by chance I happen to stay in Myrtle Beach again I know where ill be staying. Thanks Hotel Blue....Good Job!!!

We booked a 2 night stay and after reading the Google reviews and seeing how bad everyone said hotel Blue was we were regretting our decision. We walked into the lobby to check in and due to the condition of the lobby we asked to see the room before we stayed and they graciously accommodated us as we walked to the room we noticed the carpets leading to the room was very outdated and dirty. I was expecting the worst as we opened the door and to our surprise the rooms were very clean and looked newly updated ( I always clean the room with Lysol wipes even if it looks clean.) So we decided to stay. The room was a decent size, plenty of hot water and very comfortable beds. The AC kept the room very cool. I had to get up and turn it down because I was freezing. I also had an opportunity to see in other rooms while they were being cleaned and they were as nice as mine and some even better. We enjoyed the fire show that was provided with the stay. The $12 a night parking was well worth it our car was in a gated garage on the same floor as our room we had no problem finding parking. As others reported on Google there was heavy smell of weed but this was not just at the hotel it was all over the Myrtle beach. People are enjoying their vacation and they are going to party and be loud. I experienced this in upscale resorts as well. In my opinion all that is wrong with this hotel is the predated carpet (the carpet is in the halls not the rooms) and the front desk needs to be updated first impressions is everything. Thanks for a great stay. I will be back.

We checked in on July 23rd 2025 we checked out on July the 25th of 2025. Overall we were pleased with our stay The price of our nightly room was comparable to other similar hotels although there is a $12 per night parking fee I think this is a bit steep considering the price of your room that parking should be included but it is a gated parking deck so if you're not staying at this hotel you cannot get into the parking deck in a vehicle so that was a little bit of peace of mind. We stayed in room 306 it was clean up on our arrival look like it was up to date it was clean. The higher traffic areas in the hallways of course look a little worn but that is to be expected in the high traffic areas of hotels I saw workers constantly keeping things clean we did enjoy our stay and would stay again. The only downside was the hotel next door had loud music playing late in the evening into the night time our hotel had loud music playing all day on Thursday no nap time that day so if you're one who gets up early enjoys things takes a nap and then goes out in the afternoon enjoys more things this probably wouldn't be the place for you it's going to be a bit too noisy for a nap midday.. Lol

It was alright. Only complaint is the pools. The indoor pool is just hot and musty feeling, the lazy river was green. And the first day we saw three cigarette butts floating in the pool. By the 3rd day they were gone. But t hat could just be people breaking the rules. Other then that, amazing.
